It's a Girl!
Shelley and I found out today that we're having a girl. Shelley asked me, "What kind of proof was there that we're having a girl?" I replied, "I think finding no proof that it was a boy was proof enough that it's a girl." I could be wrong on this, however. This came as a big surprise to Shelley, who was sure she was a "boy Mom." We're thinking about naming this little girl Ella Nadine, after my Grandmother and Shelley's Fairy Godmother. You can ask her about that.
In other news, wish us luck as we leave for Tokyo tomorrow morning. Hopefully we can find our future home during our house-hunting trip.

I am so excited for you! I am sure that Gretta has prepared Anthon well for having a baby sister. Have a great trip to Japan! Good luck finding the perfect apartment.
Congrats!!! How wonderful! Shelley, I can totally see you as a "girl Mom" - and how fun will it be to buy a whole bunch of adorable little dresses and things! Yay!!
shelly- what the- you didn't even tell us you were pregnant at dnner and you must be at least 20 weeks- I'm only 22 so you knew!!!!!!! Congratulations. I thought I was a boy mom too until I had Coco and now I can't get enough of her. Good luck in Japan! How exciting! Carrie
Oooh, I'm so jealous! How did you find out before me? My ultrasound is a week from Monday. I'm afraid I might be one of those "boy Moms" too! Good luck in Japan! Is this the big move, or is it just a pre-move visit? Are you going to start doing your website in two languages?
How fun! I can't wait to see what a female little Anthon will look like...adorable I'm sure. And it's true, I felt like just a "girl mom"...but I'm sure I'll get used to the other side quickly. You will too.
Hope the week in Tokyo goes well!
Congrats! Girls are the best. How anyone can see anything in the those ultrasounds, though, is beyond. I think they're making it all up.
Good luck to you guys. I hope you'll keep in touch, at least via blogs!
How exciting, a GIRL!!! Good luck with the great house search! Merry Christmas and good luck with the move! Kudos to Shelley for doing all this preggers!
